Before she died in 1969, Margaret bequeathed her estate to help support the creation of the museum, which included her vast personal collections and considerable wealth.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7740 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.museumofplay.org\/app\/uploads\/2021\/07\/MWS-in-her-garden-sq.jpg\" alt=\"Margaret Woodbury Strong with collection of toys\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <strong><u>Woodbury Society<\/u><\/strong> recognizes those individuals who had the foresight and thoughtfulness to make bequests and other planned gifts to The Strong National Museum of Play. Much like Margaret, members of the Woodbury Society play a vital role in ensuring the stability of The Strong and its ongoing service to families, schools, and individuals.<\/p>\n<p>We invite you to join the Woodbury Society by planning your legacy gift to The Strong today. By doing so, you will help to ensure that The Strong can provide future generations with the ability and space to imagine, learn, and play.
