There are so many things to see, do, and play with. There are also lots of people and noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If I feel overwhelmed, tired, or need privacy, a Guest Rest is a good place for me to visit. Guest Rest stations are quiet, private areas at the museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My adult can help me find a Guest Rest. There are three throughout the museum, in or near the Adams Atrium; Toy Halls of Fame exhibit; and&nbsp;the<em> Age of Empires <\/em>exhibit<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a Guest rest is being used by someone, I can wait outside until they finish, or I can find a different one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I find a vacant room, I can go inside and sit down. To let other guests know that the room is in use, I can flip the slider on the door from <em>vacant <\/em>to <em>occupied.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once inside, I am welcome to lock the doors and adjust the lighting levels within the room. There will also be places for me to sit and fidget toys for me to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I\u2019m done, I will put the toys away and tidy the room before leaving. I will flip the slider back to <em>vacant <\/em>so other guests know it\u2019s open again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Guest Rest helps me feel better so I can enjoy the activities and exhibits!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am going to visit The Strong National Museum of Play.
